Clean Nagaland forwards drug activity reports to vetted partner organizations for action. This page explains what partnership means, who qualifies, and how to apply.
Why partners matter
Nagaland Me is a media and technology company, not a recovery clinic, a legal aid office, or a health service. When a resident reports drug activity, the right response is almost never “publish it.” The right response is to connect that information with people who can actually help, whether that means counseling, medical support, legal guidance, or community intervention.
Partner organizations are that bridge. Clean Nagaland gives you a private dashboard where you see only the cases forwarded specifically to your organization. You acknowledge each case, act on it where you can, and close it when the work is done. Every action you take is logged so Nagaland Me can report aggregate outcomes transparently to the public.
Who we are looking for
We are specifically onboarding organizations that work in one or more of these areas:
- Recovery and rehabilitation. Counselors, recovery groups, de-addiction centers, sober-living programs.
- Health and mental health. Clinics, hospitals, crisis counselors, harm reduction services.
- Legal aid. Organizations providing free or low-cost legal guidance to at-risk youth and families.
- Community welfare. Church groups, village councils, women’s groups, and youth associations with real community presence and credibility.
- Family support. Groups that work with the families of people affected by substance use.
We are not looking for law enforcement agencies, political organizations, or for-profit businesses. Clean Nagaland does not forward to those.
What partnership requires of your organization
- A real organization. You must have a registered presence, a physical location we can visit, and at least one reference from another civil society group or institution in Nagaland.
- Ethical principles. You treat people affected by substance use with dignity. You do not discriminate by tribe, religion, gender, or economic status. You do not use cases for fundraising or publicity without explicit consent.
- Confidentiality. You agree that cases forwarded to you are confidential. You do not share case details with law enforcement, media, or other organizations without explicit consent from the reporter (where a reporter has shared contact details).
- Timely action. You acknowledge new cases in your dashboard within seven days. You take action within a reasonable timeframe based on the nature of the case.
- Audit participation. You agree to spot-check audits by Nagaland Me to confirm cases are being handled as reported.
What partnership gives you
- A private dashboard. Log in to helpnagaland.com with your partner account and see only the cases forwarded to your organization. Filter by status (new, open, acted, closed). See the full case details a reporter provided.
- Acknowledge, act, and close. Each case moves through three clear states. You acknowledge that you have seen it. You mark it as acted on when you have taken action. You close it when the work is done.
- Add private notes. Each case has a partner note field where you can record what you did, who you spoke to, and when. These notes are visible only to you and to Nagaland Me moderators.
- No exposure of your organization. Your organization is not named publicly in any report. The monthly transparency shows only aggregate numbers.
- Direct channel with moderators. If a forwarded case needs clarification, you can reach the moderator who forwarded it through the case notes.
What we do not provide
- Funding for your work. Clean Nagaland is a referral platform, not a grant-maker.
- Transportation, staffing, or case logistics. You act within your existing capacity.
- Legal indemnity. If action you take on a forwarded case results in legal questions, your organization handles them.
- Identity of the reporter beyond what they explicitly shared. If a reporter submitted anonymously, no contact details will ever be given to you.
How the onboarding process works
- Initial contact. You reach out through the Contact page with a brief description of your organization, your work, and the area you cover.
- Reference check. Nagaland Me verifies your organization exists, contacts your references, and reviews any publicly available information about your work.
- In-person meeting. For organizations in or near Dimapur, Kohima, or major district centers, Aloto Naga or a delegate visits your office. For remote organizations, a video call substitutes.
- Agreement. You receive a short partner agreement covering confidentiality, ethical principles, and action timelines. You sign and return it.
- Account creation. Nagaland Me creates a partner account for your designated point of contact. You receive login credentials through a secure channel.
- First case. The moderator team begins routing relevant cases to your dashboard. You may receive no cases for weeks, then several in a single day, depending on what residents are reporting.
How we might deactivate a partnership
A partnership can be ended by either side at any time. Nagaland Me may deactivate a partner account if:
- The organization stops responding to forwarded cases for more than 30 days.
- A spot-check audit reveals cases were mishandled, shared inappropriately, or used for purposes outside the agreement.
- The organization’s principles or practices change in ways that conflict with the partner agreement.
- The organization requests to be deactivated.
Deactivation stops new forwards immediately but preserves the historical record of past cases for audit purposes.
Frequently asked questions from prospective partners
How many cases will we receive?
It varies. Some partners receive a handful of cases per month. Others receive more depending on the area they cover and the kinds of cases being reported. We do not guarantee volume.
Can we share cases with our own internal team?
Yes, within your own organization, provided your team members are bound by the same confidentiality standards. You may not share outside the organization without explicit consent from the reporter where contact details are involved.
What if a case involves someone we already know?
Use your judgment. If a conflict of interest exists, record it in the case note and either close the case with a note explaining why, or forward it back to the moderator for reassignment to another partner.
Can we publish statistics or write reports about cases we handled?
Aggregate statistics, yes, with no identifying details. Individual case write-ups, only with explicit consent from everyone involved. Never use Clean Nagaland cases for fundraising without written permission from Nagaland Me.
What about urgent cases involving imminent harm?
If a forwarded case describes imminent harm to a person (overdose, violence, suicide risk), you should act immediately within your capacity and also note the case in your dashboard. Call 112 if emergency services are needed. Nagaland Me does not replace emergency response.
Ready to apply?
